When I was first making these owl pendants, I wanted to play with combinations of colors and textures that might be seen as loud or kitschy. A friend remarked that they look like they’re wearing little sweaters. It unlocked something and I realized I was recreating the nostalgia of “ugly” Christmas sweaters. That’s how I’ve thought of them ever since.
Owl in Groovy Stripes wears a light blue sweater with hot pink and purple stripes created through tiny single strand chain stitches.

CARE
To keep your jewelry looking its best, the wood setting can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid wiping the fabric or embroidery itself. If dust, lint, or pet hair accumulate, pat gently with a piece of masking tape to remove or carefully use a pair of tweezers. Keep dry.
HANDCRAFTED
Each piece is lovingly made one stitch at a time. No two are exactly alike, even those with repeated designs. Variations in color and shape are normal and part of the charm of handmade goods.
MATERIALS
I use a combination of new, vintage, antique, and reclaimed materials across my work. Please check photos and descriptions of items carefully before purchasing. Features some might think of as “imperfections” will be noted whenever possible.
